Dry, quite generous, full bodied, round and even on the palate; fruity when young, with a persistent and pleasantly personal bouquet. It is a wine of character which pairs well with the middle course of a meal, such as risotto (but not with meat sauces) consommé, dishes with creamy sauces, pasta and risotto with clams, fish and roasts.
Serve at a temperature of about 10 °C.
