An austere wine, characterised by a good fixed acidity which makes it lively and nervy when young, but warm and noble with age. Bright ruby red with a garnet rim and highlights, the bouquet is reminiscent ofbrambles, raspberry, blueberry and well matured walnut, with nuances of spices and moss. Its body is well-balanced and pleasant, firm and with a good aromatic persistency. It pairs very well with local charcuterie and white meat in general.
Serve at a temperature of about 16-17 °C.
